Registration information

All our teachers are required to attend a face to face interview.

In order to meet current UK legislation you will be required to provide the following information:

  ▪  Full birth certificate and passport (with visas if appropriate).
  ▪  Marriage certificate or evidence of name change.
  ▪  2 proofs of address e.g. utility bills, bank statement (must be less than 3      months old from your current address and in your name).
  ▪  1 passport photograph.
  ▪  DCFS/GTC number - (overseas teachers can apply once in the UK)
  ▪  Full Curriculum Vitae with all gaps in employment covered.
  ▪  Contact details for referees to cover last 3 years of teaching (for newly      qualified teacher, names of teaching practice and University Lecturer.
  ▪  Original teaching certificate.
  ▪  Original degree certificate/certificates of alternative qualifications.

Please note you must be able to show proof of right to work in UK with full UK birth certificate/passport and National Insurance Card or P45/P60. For overseas nationals you must present passport with relevant visas.

For overseas candidates you may provide certified copies by a recognized Justice of the Peace, although original passport and visa will need to be sighted prior to work in the UK.

Police check

For overseas nationals you will be required to provide a relevant police check from your home country no less than three months old. Please check with us for the correct department to contact from your home country.

All our applicants are required to complete an Enhanced Disclosure through the CRB with Elite Education International (UK police check). This check must be completed prior to securing work within a school in the UK.

For all applicants who have travelled overseas to a country for more than 3 months they will be required to provide a police check from that country also.
