Youth Mobility Scheme Tier 5 (previously Working Holiday
visa)
You are
now entitled to work in the UK for the full 2 years. Age restrictions apply to this visa category.
Dual Nationality
Anyone with
dual nationality for the UK or another European Union country is automatically entitled to work in the UK.
Ancestry Visa
If you
have a grandparent who was born in the UK you are entitled to claim ancestry and therefore have the right to work in the UK for up to 4 years with no restrictions.
Right of Abode
If you or one of your parents were born in the UK you may apply for a Certificate of Entitlement to the Right of Abode. If granted, the certificate remains valid for the life of your passport and entitles you to live and work in the UK indefinitely.
Spouses
If you are
married to a British national you may be entitled to work in the UK. Likewise, if you are accompanying a spouse who has dual nationality or partiality you may also be entitled to work in the UK.
