It is vital that you prepare a
clear, concise and thorough CV/Resume.
This is normally the first request
from a future employer and they will decide whether to proceed with
an interview based on the contents of your CV/Resume.
Points to consider:
Make something about your CV different
Always provide a covering letter, maximum one
page
Check grammar, punctuation and spelling
Use your name and page number as the header on
the second and any subsequent pages
There are no 'rules' on the length of a resume,
but we recommend 2 pages maximum (a 3rd for your references if you
wish)
Make sure that columns, periods, dates etc. line
up.
Use a good quality white or off-white paper and
a good quality printer
